Two Dromedary Camels Easily Crunch Through Long Needles While Eating Prickly Pear Cactus

Camel Chewing Down Prickly Pear Cactus

The really wonderful human at Camels and Friends who has rescued wolves, minks, baladi dogs and Patagonian Maras and rams, shared an amazing if not, slightly uncomfortable video of her Dromedary camels Baby and Nessie, as they were eating a prickly pear cactus that had long needles on its exterior. The camels quite enjoyed the sweet succulent as they obliviously crunched right through the needles. In fact, they even pulled the bowl closer so they could have more.
