Former Joy Division and New Order co-founder and bassist Peter Hook and his band The Light performed a brilliant socially distant cover of the song “Love Will Tear Us Apart”. This amazing performance was part of the “Yamaha Guitars Open House Online” event.
As part of the recent Yamaha Guitars ‘Open House Online’ event, Peter Hook & The Light performed a socially distanced live version of Joy Division’s ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’.
The band also performed “Age of Consent” and “Digital” at the same virtual event.
Yamaha is also introducing a signature Peter Hook bass to commemorate Hook’s iconic career.
Peter Hook pioneered a singular style that defied convention and became a defining aspect of the sound of Joy Division and later New Order. The Peter Hook Signature BB combines elements of his favorite BB1200S and the BB734A he currently plays on tour with Peter Hook & The Light.”
