Netflix released the second trailer for The Defenders, their upcoming original series developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The trailer follows Marvel superheroes Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they team up to fight against Elektra (Élodie Yung) and Alexandra Reid (Sigourney Weaver), who wants to crush New York City. The Defenders is scheduled to premiere August 18th, 2017 on Netflix.
