Casey Neistat, whose adventures we’ve previously written about, recently was an invited guest to the fabulous Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit aka The Met Gala and walked away with some helpful and humorous observations about attending the event that he shared with the cameras of Vogue (who did not officially endorse his advice).
Casey Neistat doesn’t let a little thing like “rules” get in the way of a good time. At last year’s Met Gala, the vlogger brazenly flouted decorum and attended the social media–restricted party with selfie stick in tow. In the spirit of this year’s theme, “Manus x Machina,” Neistat and his selfie stick were right at home. Here, he trades in his bike for a skateboard and runs through his five-step guide to attending the Met Gala—advice, he warns, that was not endorsed by Vogue.
